They are a soft embrace.

They hold time - memories, mistakes and accomplishments.

They are made up of granny squares.

My grandma introduced me to crochet when I was in primary school. I still host in my nostrils the strong smell of mothballs permeating her flat. I vividly remember getting lost in the drawers of her sewing machine, amongst all the coloured buttons and threads.

I was obsessed by making crochet bookmarks.

Something about marking time.

Something about stories.

It feels like these bags are bookmarks too.
